WILMINGTON, MA — On Friday, June 23rd, the Wilmington Rotary will be hosting the 9th Annual Trivia Competition in the Fez Room at the Shriners Auditorium. The doors will open at 6:00 and the first question will be asked at 7:00 pm. Teams of four will compete. The cost per team is $100. Corporate sponsorship is also available.
Well-known Comedian Steve Bjork will ask three series of 25 questions on topics of general trivia, sports, entertainment, people, music and Wilmington. At the end of the evening, the team with the highest number of correct answers will be crowned the 2017 Trivia Champion. The Champions will win the ownership for one year of the
priceless engraved trophy and, of course, bragging rights throughout the town.
While you might think of yourself as genius at Trivia Pursuit, this year we will have all of our previous winning teams competing. Come and see if you are able to better our past winners, the Knights of Columbus, Mandates, Burns Bunch and the Men in Blue. Incidentally, this year, the Men in Blue are competing for an unprecedented 4th consecutive Championship.
So on June 23rd, leave your smart phones in the car, but bring your smartest teammates, munchies and snacks. A cash bar and complimentary popcorn will be available.
All proceeds from this fun and challenging evening will go towards scholarships for 2017 Wilmington Graduates.
