VIDEO: Meet The New Wilmington CARES Director, Summer Program DEADLINE is April 12

WILMINGTON, MA — Shari Parker, the district’s new Wilmington CARES Program Coordinator, recently sat down with Anne Marie-Fiore to discuss the Summer CARES Program on WCTV’s “In The Loop” TV Show.

The summer program runs from Monday, June 29th to Thursday, August 10, from 7am to 5:45pm.  The program costs only $43 per day. Parents can pick and choose the dates their child(ren) attend, but a minimum of 10 dates must be chosen.  The program is open to kids entering Grades 1-6.  Kids are separated by grade.

Parker discusses the activities and field trips kids can expect. Three major changes this summer — (1) lunch won’t be provided (bring 3 drinks, 2 snacks, and 1 lunch); (2) swimming will be at the YMCA in North Andover (not the Boys & Girls Club in Woburn); and (3) the program now has a full-time nurse.

The application deadline is Wednesday, April 12, 2017.  Register HERE.
