WILMINGTON, MA — Here are 10 things you need to know in Wilmington for Monday, September 26, 2016.
#1) According to the National Weather Service, Wilmington’s forecast will be Sunny, with a high near 65, with light and variable wind.
#2) Rocco V. “Chuck” DePasquale, Jr., the former longtime owner of Rocco’s Restaurant & Pub, is participating in Tremezzo’s popular Celebrity Guest Bartender program! Chuck will be behind the bar at Tremezzo (2 Lowell Street) from 6pm to 9pm. 10% of all food sales purchased between Chuck’s bartender time will be donated to a kidney foundation in honor of his late brother Matt DePasquale, who passed away in 2014 from Kidney Disease.
#3) The Wilmington Board of Selectmen meets at 7pm at Wilmington Town Hall (Room 9). Read the agenda HERE. Topics include Fun on the Fourth, Town Tree Lighting Ceremony, Water Testing in the Schools, and Recognition of the Sons of Italy for funding the new ‘Welcome to Wilmington’ sign. An Executive Session (closed to the public) is also scheduled from 6pm to 7pm.

#7) The Wilmington Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) is holding a Meet & Greet at 6pm and a Basic Rights Workshop at 6:30pm in the Wilmington High School Library.
#8) The Wilmington High Guidance Department is hosting the annual WHS Financial Aid Information Night at 6:30pm in the High School Auditorium. A representative from the UMass Lowell Financial Aid Office will present an informational program vital for all parents applying for financial aid for college. #9) Brush Strokes Art Studio of Tewksbury is holding a paint night in Wilmington from 7pm to 9pm at Rocco’s Restaurant & Bar (193 Main Street). Come eat, drink and paint!
