WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Catholic Community’s monthly Bereavement and Grief Support Group next meets on Monday, July 11, from 11am to noon and again from 6pm to 7pm, in the St. Thomas offices. The group is open to all Wilmington residents.
When we’ve lost a loved one, we usually feel a need to connect with others who understand what grief is, who’ve suffered a similar loss, and who know what our sorrow feels like. Support groups give us a safe place to interact with others, expressing our feelings without fear of being judged. Working our way through grief is some of the hardest work we may ever have to do, but realizing that we don’t have to do it all by ourselves can be life-affirming.
If you are interested in joining the parish’s monthly Bereavement and Grief Support Group, there is no need of registration. Simply come to the group! If you have questions, please contact Joanie Barclay, Parish Social Worker, at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 978-658-4665 x 108.
