WILMINGTON, MA – These popular upcoming events from the Wilmington Sons of Italy and Wilmington Recreation Department are sure to get Wilmington families with young children in the Easter spirit!
On Sunday, March 20, the Wilmington Sons of Italy will hold its 11th annual “Easter Bunny Breakfast” at the Wilmington Knights of Columbus Hall (112 Middlesex Ave). Two sittings are available – 8:30am to 10am and 10:30am to noon. Tickets can be purchased for an $8 donation. Children under three are free. All proceeds will benefit the Wilmington Sons of Italy Charities. The breakfast will include scrambled eggs, waffles, hash brown patties, bacon, sausage, muffins, juice, milk and coffee. Call Tara at 978-758-0405 for tickets. Tickets must be purchased on or before Sunday, March 13. No tickets will be sold at the door.
On Saturday, March 26 at 2pm sharp, the Wilmington Recreation Department will hold its annual Town Easter Egg Hunt at the Wilmington Town Common. (The event will be held in the Middle School if there is poor weather or ground conditions.) This free event is intended for children ages 6 and under. Children are asked to bring their own basket or container to hold their eggs.
