10 Things To Do In Wilmington Today (February 1, 2016)

Here are TEN things to do today in Wilmington on Monday, February 1, 2016.

#1) The Wilmington Board of Selectmen meets at 7pm at Town Hall (Room 9) for Town Manager Jeff Hull’s budget presentation.  Read the agenda HERE.

#2) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is running FOUR events — “Exploration Station: Water” at 10am; Couponers Club meeting at noon; Adult Coloring Group meeting at 7pm; and “The Academy Awards: The Good, The Bad & The Outrageous” at 7pm.  Learn more and, if necessary, register HERE.

#3) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding its typical Monday activities — Blood Pressure Clinic (9:30am); SBF Exercise (9:45am); Special Exercise (11am); and Quilting (1pm).

#4) The WHS Boys & Girls Track teams battle Burlington at 6pm at Reggie Lewis Field House.  If the WHS Girls Track team wins, they will win their first ever league championship!

#5) State Rep. Jim Miceli is holding Office Hours from 9:30am to 11am at the Senior Center and 6:30pm to 8pm at Wilmington Town Hall.  Learn more HERE.

#6) Today is the FINAL DAY to donate to the winter coat drive at Woodbriar Health Center (90 West Street). Learn more HERE.

#7) Hair Cuttery (206 Ballardvale Street) is hosting a Share-A-Haircut for the homeless today. Every time anyone receives a haircut at the salon, a free haircut certificate will be donated to a homeless person in the community.  Learn more HERE.

#8) The Wilmington High School C.A.T.S. (Choral & Theatre Support Group) meets at 7pm in the high school’s Large Instruction Room.

#9) The Wilmington Democratic Town Committee holds its monthly meeting at 7pm at WCTV Headquarters (10 Waltham Street).
