WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington residents are encouraged to gather at Rotary Park, across from the Public Safety Building, on Wednesday, December 23 at 4pm, to show appreciation to members of the Wilmington Police and Fire Departments.
Organizers of this grassroots effort ask participants to:
- Create a card to say thanks
- Write a letter to say thanks
- Make a sign to say thanks
- Drop off homemade or purchased food items or small gifts
- Sing Christmas Carols to the officers with friends and family of “We’re One Wilmington”
- Find their own unique way to say thanks
