POLICE LOG from November 26: A Quiet Thanksgiving For Police; Speeding Cars

WILMINGTON, MA  — 25 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Thursday, November 26, 2015 (THANKSGIVING).  Here are SIX highlights:

  • A license plate was found on Marion Street. Police was able to notify the vehicle’s owner, who came to the station to retrieve the plate. (10:13am)
  • A caller reported her mother’s vehicle was keyed overnight at Deming Way. (11:45am)
  • Fire Department responded to medical emergencies on Middlesex Avenue (3:03pm), Lawrence Street (3:53pm), and Evergreen Drive (4:43pm).
  • A caller reported a yellow vehicle, traveling south on Main Street past the Town Park, was going approximately 100 MPH. Woburn Police was notified. (4:27pm)
  • A red mustang with “glasspack” mufflers was racing up and down Chestnut Street. Vehicle was gone upon police arrival. (9:04pm)
