Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Friday, August 28, 2015.
#1) We’re One Wilmington‘s School Supply Drive for local kids ends today. Drop off donations at 32 Ashwood Avenue (bin at front steps) or at The Cleaner Spot (209 Main Street). Learn more about the Drive HERE.
#2) Tremezzo (2 Lowell Street) is hosting live music when The Hot Tub Piranhas take the stage at 9pm.
#3) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding its normal Friday summer activities — Video Exercise at 10am; Special Exercise at 11am; Cards at 1pm; and Bingo at 1pm. Learn more HERE.
#4) The Wilmington Recreation Department launches online registration TODAY. Starting August 28, you will be able to register online for any of our Children and Adult programs or classes (except SNL Flag Football and 35+ Basketball for September.) Soon we will be able to offer online registration for other offerings such as tickets and trips! You can now securely register your entire family at one time from the comfort of your home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can create your CommunityPass account NOW by clicking on the CommunityPass link from the Wilmington Recreation page on the Town website (www.wilmingtonma.gov) or go directly to https://register.communitypass.net/TownofWilmingtonMA. Once your account is created, you will receive an email that contains your login information (account ID and password).
#5) The second day of tryouts take place for the WHS Volleyball Team (1pm to 4pm) at Wilmington High Gym and WHS Golf (starts at 12:30pm) at Hillview Country Club. Learn more HERE.
