5 Things To Do In Wilmington Today (August 4, 2015)

Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Tuesday, August 4, 2015.

#1) The Wilmington Police Department is holding its popular National Night Out event from 6pm to 9:30pm at Rotary Park. Police & fire vehicle & equipment demos! K-9 demo! U.S. Customs & Border Protection demo! Visit from Massachusetts State Police Air Wing Helicopter!  And SO much more! Learn more HERE.

#2) The Lowell Spinners is celebrating “Wilmington Night” at their game tonight at 7:05pm. An all-you-can-eat BBQ begins at 5:30pm. With the assistance of the Wilmington Rotary Club, the Spinners will salute Wilmington’s organizations, businesses and groups before and during the game. Learn more HERE.

#3) The Wilmington Board of Health meets at 5:30pm at Town Hall (Room 9). Read the agenda HERE. The Wilmington Planning Board meets at 7pm at Town Hall (Room 9). Read the agenda HERE.

#4) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is running “Storytime: Animals At Night” at 10am. “Listen to stories and make a fun craft! No registration required, but attendance is limited to the first 30 children who arrive. For ages 3 to 6.” Learn more HERE.

#5) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding its regular Tuesday activities — Walking Group (9am); Bocce (9:30am); Aerobics (10:30am); and Wii Bowling (12:30pm). Signs up have also begun for “A Night of Good Company” (a free dinner sponsored by Abundant Life) on Thursday, August 13 at 5pm. Learn more HERE.
