Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Friday, May 29, 2015.
#1) The Wilmington High School Drama Club performs Hamlet tonight and tomorrow night— both at 7pm — in the WHS Auditorium. Tickets cost $15 for adults and $12 for students, seniors and children under 10. Learn more HERE.
#2) Shop at Barnes and Nobles in Burlington today (9am-11pm) — or online at http://www.barnesandnoble.com — and a portion of your sale will be donated to the Wilmington-based iPods for Wounded Veterans. Learn more HERE.
#3) The Wilmington Memorial Library is running a drop-in storytime at at 10am. “Drop in for stories, songs, rhymes and a fun craft! Ages 2-5 and one or more adults.” The library’s Needleworks group also meets from 10am to noon. “If you do any kind of needlework, this group is for you. Bring a project and work away while enjoying a little conversation and camaraderie. Drop in.”
#4) The Wilmington Senior Center is running its usual slate of Friday activities — Video Exercise at 10am; Special Exercise at 11am; Bingo at 1pm; and Cards at 1pm.
#5) Round up a team to participate in Wilmington Rotary Club’s Trivia Night on Friday, June 12 at 7pm in the Fez Room at the Shriner’s Auditorium. Learn more HERE.
