OBITUARY: Helen G. (Letellier) Barosky-White, 92

Helen G. Barosky-White, (Letellier), age 92, of Epping, NH, formerly a long-time resident of Rowley, MA, died peacefully on March 27, 2015, at the Country Center for Health & Rehabilitation in Newburyport.

Helen was born on September 28, 1922,in Cambridge, MA; she was the cherished daughter of the late Albert and Margaret Letellier. Helen was raised and educated in Wilmington, she was a member of a large and loving family and she enjoyed being from “the country.”

Helen married the “love of her life” Francis Barosky in Fort Benning, GA on November 1, 1942; they were parents to three wonderful children, Geri, Tom, and David. Helen and Francis cherished their short time together as a family until Francis’ untimely death in 1955; this was devastating to everyone. Family was everything to Helen, through lots of hard work, love, and faith, Helen managed to keep things together and continued to raise her children just as they had planned.

Helen and her family lived in Tewksbury for several years before moving to Rowley where they lived for more than 35 years. In her later years, Helen moved to Epping, NH, with her daughter about 15 years ago.

Throughout the years, Helen worked as a retail salesperson in Newburyport but she really loved her job at Kathy Ann’s Bakery where she could interact with the customers; she always had a gentle nature and a big smile.

In her spare time, Helen enjoyed bowling, dancing, and most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Helen was a “social butterfly” who had a great time at every special event and beamed with pride as she spoke of her family.

Helen was truly a “one of a kind lady” who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Helen was the beloved wife of the late Francis Barosky and James White, devoted mother of Geri Fichera of Epping, NH, Tom Barosky & his wife Terri of Canton, MA, and Dave Barosky & his wife Sue of Hampstead, NH, loving “Grammy/Nana” of John Fichera, Jennifer Macaluso, Todd, Luke, and Mark Barosky,Lauren Barosky, Paige Dwire, Jake Barosky, Tori Gingras, Katie Rametta and great-grandchildren Julia, Ryne, Brooke, Jax, and Kaylee.
