WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Community Television uploaded THREE new videos for on-demand viewing to its website over the past week.
The Wilmington School Committee Meeting from Wednesday, March 25 featured a discussion on the proposed changes to the Wilmington Middle School schedule. (The Committee will take a vote at its next meeting on Wednesday, April 8.) The Meeting also featured School Superintendent Mary DeLai continuing to discuss the findings of her entry plan in great detail. Wilmington High School DECA students who will be competing at Internationals at Disney World later this month were recognized at the start of the meeting. Watch the meeting coverage HERE.
The latest episode of In The Loop with Assistant Superintendent of Schools Kate Burnham featured a fascinating 25-minute discussion with the project manager of the Wilmington High School project, Mike Marcella of Gilbane Building Company. Marcella discussed the latest in the project and shared many photos of the old school being prepped for demolition. Watch the episode HERE.
The latest episode of Book Stew with Library Trustee Eileen MacDougall featured a 45-minute interview with noted audiobook narrator, Emily Durante. According to her online bio, Durante narrated the Midnight Twins trilogy by Jacquelyn Mitchard; Casting Off by Nicole Dickson; Impossible and Locked Inside by Nancy Werlin; and Smooth Talking Stranger by Lisa Kleypas. This episode marked a milestone for WCTV – it was the first time the studio ever aired a Skype interview. Watch the episode HERE.
