Below is an obituary from Farrah Funeral Home:
WILMINGTON, MA — Cynthia Lee Pittas Dix, lovingly known as Cindy, was a woman who found joy in the simple things in life. She loved music, games, and movies, but more than anything, she loved people. Her heart had a special way of bringing people together, and she will be remembered for her kindness, her forgiving spirit, and the love she shared with those around her.
Cindy was known for making the best pineapple upside-down cake, a special treat that became a favorite at family gatherings. It was more than just a cake; it was a part of the memories, laughter, and togetherness that made family celebrations so special.
A graduate of Wilmington High School, Class of 1971, Cindy leaves behind a family who will forever cherish the time they shared with her and the memories that will continue to keep her close.
She worked as an associate for Dunkin Donuts and then transitioned into a project manager for Oracle Corp, as well as Market Basket as a cashier where she worked evenings.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Elaine Nazareno; her son-in-law, Robin Nazareno; and her cherished granddaughter, Camilla. She is also survived by her brother, William J. Johns, and his wife, Lori, of Gloucester, Massachusetts; and her sister, Diane Mannell, of Dracut, Massachusetts.
Cindy was preceded in death by her two beloved sons, Leonidas Michael Pittas and Stephen Michael Pittas, whom she carried in her heart. She also leaves behind two grandchildren, Milo Pittas and Ariyana Pittas, the children of her late son, Stephen.
Though Cindy is no longer here with us, the love she gave, the forgiveness she offered, and the memories she created will never be forgotten. She will live on in the hearts of her family and all those whose lives she touched. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her love will remain a part of them always.
Rest peacefully, Cindy. You will forever be loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
