Below is an announcement from Wilmington Community Television’s “Book Stew:”
WILMINGTON, MA — Clocks back, spirits forward for the midterms, Book Stew viewers and listeners!
In 2004, at Brookline Booksmith, I met author Walter Mosley at a reading of one of the first books in his Easy Rawlins series, Little Scarlett.
In 2025, I attended another Mosley reading, at the Harvard Book Store, for the latest book in the same series, Gray Dawn.
In October 2026, I spent a lively half hour with Walter Mosley discussing his new novel Ghalen on Book Stew.
Mosley shared his philosophy of encouraging readers to see themselves in his books; how he must be strategic in having produced over sixty novels, with two more in the upcoming publishing pipeline; and how he sees himself as a romance writer. You will see him as a realist, a philosopher, and a charmer.
