NORTH READING, MA — The Ipswich River Community Chorus fall season recently began and is now hosting open rehearsals. The chorus will be performing its holiday concert, “From Darkness into Light,” on Sunday, December 13, 2026 at 4:00pm and will be directed by Katherine B. Foley and accompanied by Miles Goldberg.
“From Darkness into Light”, covering the spectrum of the season from quiet reflection to joyful celebration. Rehearsals and concerts take place at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 235 Park St, North Reading, MA 01864. This season’s holiday concert will bring audiences
If you or anyone you know loves to sing – especially if they are a Tenor or Bass, this is the perfect time to come and check out the chorus! An open rehearsal will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026 – please arrive by 7pm to register. All other rehearsals are on Monday 7:30pm – 9:30pm.
The Chorus is a four-part harmony community chorus, whose members reside in many area towns, from Burlington to Beverly. The ability to read music is not required, though they greatly value members with experience singing in four-part harmony or using sheet music.
