LIBRARY NEWS: Wilmington Library To Hold 9 Programs Next Week, Including Good Neighbor Day Social On Sept. 23; Find The Library’s Booth At Fall Fest On Sept. 26

Needleworkers at Night

These nighttime sessions are perfect for anyone who does any kind of needle craft but can’t make it to Needleworkers during the day! Drop-in.

Sundae Fundae: Good Neighbor Day Social
Wednesday, September 23, 6pm

Community members of all ages, come join the library for a night of Hoodsie Cup sundaes and more! Enjoy the latest Storywalk® installment, grab games to play, complete a scavenger hunt, and spend some time together! This is open to all ages and will take place at Rotary Park. Registration required.

Cider & Cozy Crafts
Thursday, September 24, 6-8pm

Come by to socialize, unwind, and try your hand at some simple, cozy crafts! We will have a self-serve Apple Cider Bar, including fun mix-ins. Registration required.

Youth Programs

Wilmington Community Playgroup
Monday, September 21, 10am

The Community Teamwork Family Resource Network is here weekly! Join CTI for a community playgroup where we’ll work on Early Literacy skills and much, much more. Ask CTI about any resources they can help provide for you and your family. Ages 0-6. Registration required.

Preschool Storytime
Tuesday, September 22, 10am

Join us at our Preschool Storytime! This program includes books, rhymes, music and movement. Ages 3-6. Registration required.

K-Pop Fan Meetup
Tuesday, September 22, 6-7pm

Meet other fans, decorate photocards, enjoy Korean snacks, and watch music videos! All fans are welcome, whether new or old! Grades 6-12. Registration required.

Time for Twos
Wednesday, September 23, 10am

Time for Twos includes books, rhymes, music and movement for children aged 2! Age 2. Registration required.

Baby Time
Thursday, September 24, 10am

Join us at our Baby Time! This program includes books, rhymes, music and movement. Ages 0-23 months. Registration required.

Costume Craze
Costume Craze is back! Donate new or lightly worn youth Halloween costumes to the library between 9/1-9/28. Then, come by on October 3 to find a new-to-you kids or teen costume (no donation required)! Can’t make it on the 4th? Costumes will be available in the Youth Services Room until 10/17 or while supplies last. Any remaining costumes will be donated to Savers in Wilmington.

Check Out Our Library of Things
Did you know Wilmington Memorial Library circulates more than just books? Check out our Adult, Teen and Youth Library of Things for fun and useful items to take home. Book Store Next Door
During Fall Fest, the Bookstore Next Door will be selling books on their front lawn all day. Make sure to stop by and get some new-to-you books!

WML In-Person & Virtual Programming
