WARWICK, RI — Raymond J. St. Martin, 56, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 31, 2026. Born in Cranston, Ray was the beloved and devoted son of Susan A. (Hall) St. Martin-Brawner and the late Raymond I. St. Martin Jr. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving siblings, Debra Perry and her husband Michael Perry, Stephen St. Martin his wife Deborah, and Beth St. Martin-Mohart. A great loss was his brother the late David St Martin. Ray leaves behind beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews as well as his God Children Katherine Santos and Christopher St. Martin.
Raised in Warwick, Ray was a proud graduate of Warwick Veterans Memorial High School, Class of 1989. He went on to attend Community College of Rhode Island, where he earned his degree in engineering. He built a career working for multiple semiconductors manufacturers settling for the last 17 years at Analog Devices, Inc. in Wilmington, Massachusetts.
Ray was an easygoing, calm, and genuinely friendly man who was fiercely protective of the people he loved. He had a wide range of interests and could often be found behind his camera, enjoying a game of paintball, or carefully building model cars with the help of Apponaug Color & Hobby Shop. He was also an avid Warhammer enthusiast, spending time pursuing his hobby at Game On in Warwick.
Ray enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, especially a good meal at some of his favorite local restaurants, including Timmy’s, the Greenwood Inn, and Gel’s, always accompanied by a large Ice Dunkin’ coffee. A devoted New England Patriots fan, he rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on his team.
Of all the traditions Ray cherished, perhaps none meant more to him than the time he spent with his niece, Kristie, and his godchild, Katherine. Those moments were especially meaningful to Ray and reflected what mattered most to him throughout his life, the people he loved and the time he shared with them.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, in The Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. His funeral will be held on Thursday, September 10, at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by a chapel service at 10:00 a.m. His committal prayers and burial will follow the service in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.
