WILMINGTON, MA — Troop 56 Wilmington MA recently had an action-packed week at Camp Yawgoog under the stewardship of their Senior Patrol Leader, Theo Adamek.
From Swimming to Rowing, to climbing the inflatable obstacle course, the waterfront was a favorite hangout. Five scouts went on to earn the Kayaking merit badge.
Beyond the water, our troop took on a wide range of merit badge classes — from Environmental Science and Wood Carving to Fingerprinting and Pioneering. The troop earned an incredible 56 merit badges. Camp was also a great place to show our Scout spirit by placing first in the costume contest and second in the site decoration category for the week’s theme of circus.
To top it all off, we placed third in the swim carnival and were awarded Honor Troop!
