WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for July 30 & 31, 2026

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, July 30, 2026 and Friday, July 31, 2026:

Thursday, July 30, 2026

Wires were on fire near a house on Salem Street. RMLD and Fire Department responded. (8:35am)

K. Soto Castillo (45, Lawrence) was served a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License. (11:18am)

M. Foley (46, Wilmington) was arrested on a warrant. (4:24pm)

A caller reported juveniles were golfing on a field at Yentile Farm, hitting golf balls towards vehicles. Juveniles were gone by the time police arrived. (5:25pm)

M. Amaral (44, Swansea) was served a summons for Assault & Battery. Caller reported he was punched in the face by a co-worker, and police responded. (5:28pm)

E. Disla (23, Lawrence) was arrested on a warrant. North Reading resident reported a possible car meet up behind K1 Speed, and police responded. (8:50pm)

Friday, July 31, 2026

S. Viveiros (46, Wilmington) was arrested for OUI Liquor (2nd Offense); Leaving Scene Of Property Damage; Marked Lanes Violation; Speeding; and Negligent Operation Of A Motor Vehicle. Viveiros struck a rock wall in the area of Main Street and Lake Street. (1:07am)

Police received report of a construction vehicle falling off a tow truck on Main Street. Mass Highway and DPW notified. 10 gallons of diesel were spilled. (12:00pm)

The “Entering Wilmington” sign on Route 125 was missing. Police notified MassDOT. (6:18pm)
