Due to the forecast, tonight’s Concert on the Common featuring The Better Things has been postponed to next Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 6:30pm to 8pm.

The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) was scheduled to hold its annual Paint Palooza, but it has been rescheduled to Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at 6pm.

The Wilmington Senior Center (130 Main Street) is holding the following classes and activities: Blood Pressure (9am); Special Exercise (9:30am); Bocce (10am); Beginners Tai Chi (10:30am); Mexican Train (10:30am); Cards & Games (1pm); Poker (1pm); Fun Singers (1:30pm); and Strength & Stretch (2pm). The Wilmington Police Department is conducting Child Safety Seat Inspections and Installations at the Public Safety Building (1 Adelaide Street) between 10am and noon. No appointments are necessary, however, it is strongly encouraged that you call ahead at 978-658-5071 to make sure a technician is available. Learn more HERE.

The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. 100% of all proceeds support the Wilmington Memorial Library. Learn more HERE.

Town Beach at Silver Lake is open from 10am to 6pm. Wilmington residents, with proof of residency, may use the beach at no charge. Non-residents can purchase day passes at the Beach for $10 per person (ages 3 and up).

Rocco’s Restaurant & Bar (193 Main Street) is holding Music Bingo from 7pm to 9pm.
