Hearing Aid Tips & Tricks

VIRTUAL- Celebrating America’s 250th with Gregory E. O’Malley
Monday, July 27, 7pm
Author Gregory E. O’Malley will discuss his book “The Escapes of David George: An Odyssey of Slavery, Freedom, and the American Revolution.” The book reveals a remarkable, untold experience of the American revolutionary period—a Black man’s quest for the freedom espoused by our Founders but denied him and other enslaved people. Folk Revolution of the 1960s- Songs that Shaped a Generation

Terrarium Workshop

Come explore the tiny world of terrariums in this hands-on workshop! Participants will get a guided experience of crafting their own terrarium using provided plants, moss, stones, and decorations. Summer Storytime for Ages 2-6

This program includes books, rhymes, music and movement. Summer Storytime will take place in the Stewart Room on the second floor of the library, however if the weather permits, we may move Summer Storytime outdoors to the Peggy Kane Reading Garden behind the library. Paint Palooza

Join us for our messiest event of the year! We’ll have paper and canvases to paint on with brushes, rollers, spikey balls, loofas and more at this painting extravaganza. Babies through 5th Graders. Registration required.

Petting Zoo with Enchanted Animal Party

Come meet baby goats, a lamb, chickens, a duck, baby bunnies, guinea pigs, baby chicks, ducklings and a surprise animal at the Town Common for this awesome petting zoo with Enchanted Animal Parties! All ages. Registration required.
Pottery Workship with Mudflat Studio
Saturday, August 1, 2pm
Learn pottery basics with Mudflat Studio! We’ll celebrate our summer reading theme, “Plant a Seed, Read,” by making seed balls, then creating a small plant pot with a tray! Grades 6-12. Registration required.

Join picture book author Josh Funk on Wednesday, August 5th at 6:30pm as he discusses his popular books and what it’s like being a picture book author! There will be a Q&A, book sales, a book signing, and meet-and-greet. Josh Funk is a software engineer and author of books including the Lady Pancake & Sir French Toast series, How to Code a Sandcastle, The Dino Door and many more! Summer Reading
The Summer Reading Program is here! You will be able to register and log your reading online at wilmlibrary.beanstack.org or grab a paper log at the library. Throughout the summer you can collect prizes and raffle tickets by reading and filling out a bingo card. This year’s program will be running from June 20th to August 13th, is for all ages, and has the theme: Plant a Seed, Read!
