The Wilmington Town Museum (430 Salem Street) will be hosting a free colonial open house to celebrate the 250th anniversary of America from 1pm to 3pm. The Wilmington Minutemen will be on site for a reenactment encampment, with activities, refreshments, and plenty to explore at the museum.
Can you bike? Swim? Walk/run? That’s a TRI! Do one – two – or all three. TriFury is holding a “Try the Tri” this Satudray, July 18, 2026 at 7:30pm at Silver Lake/Town Beach in Wilmington. Participants will swim at Silver Lake (with lifeguards and safety kayakers), bike ride on local roads, and walk/run around Silver Lake. This is a very beginner friendly group — first timers are welcome and encouraged! Register HERE.
The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding the following events and activities today: Fairy Houses (10am).
Town Beach at Silver Lake is open from 10am to 6pm. Wilmington residents, with proof of residency, may use the beach at no charge. Non-residents can purchase day passes at the Beach for $10 per person (ages 3 and up).
The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. 100% of all proceeds support the Wilmington Memorial Library. Learn more HERE.
Pacific Grove (211 Lowell Street) hosts karaoke from Winnell Entertainment on Saturdays beginning at 8pm.
