WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, July 4, 2026:
L. Allston (18, North Reading) was served a summons for Shoplifting By Asportation. Target loss prevention reported a customer was trying to take $63 worth of merchandise. Customer was also trespassed from store. (2:35pm)
A caller from Milestone Group Home reported an unoccupied vehicle was parked in their driveway. Police responded and spoke with vehicle owner. Owner was a party across the street and didn’t realize the property was private. (9:21pm)
A Nichols Street caller reported a male party was running up his walk way. When the motion lights went on, he hid behind a bush. Police responded, spoke to the owner, and checked the perimeter. All clear. (10:50pm)
