Below is a press release from Reading Cooperative Bank, which has a location in Wilmington:
READING, MA — Reading Cooperative Bank (RCB) is pleased to announce the hiring of Kerri Borges as its new Vice President, Commercial Lender. Borges joins us from Rockland Trust, formerly Enterprise Bank, and has more than 20 years of experience in the industry, having worked in retail banking, risk management, and commercial lending.
Borges transitioned into commercial lending a little over ten years ago from a lending administration role that progressed through positions of increasing responsibility. Following a credit rotation, Borges advanced into portfolio management and later into a lending role supporting client relationships and loan origination.
Borges brings a strong client-first approach, solid lending experience, and a relationship-driven mindset.
“I was drawn to Reading Cooperative Bank because of its strong focus on relationship banking, commitment to supporting local businesses, and dedication to community service,” Borges said. “Everyone I met during the interview process was so welcoming and genuine; it really felt like the right fit. I’m excited to continue growing as a lender while providing a high level of service to my clients, building meaningful relationships, and contributing to the team’s success.”
“Kerri’s decision to join Reading Cooperative Bank is a tremendous addition to our team,” said SVP, Commercial Team Leader Jose Cruz. “She brings a wealth of knowledge, strong customer relationships, and a collaborative approach that will serve our clients well in all our markets. Beyond her experience, Kerri is someone who genuinely cares about her customers and her community, which makes her an excellent fit for our culture. We are excited to welcome her aboard and look forward to supporting her continued success here at RCB.”
Borges is an active member in her community and recently became a member of the D’Youville Foundation Board. Outside of work, she enjoys reading and staying active. She lives in Dracut with her husband Mike, their two daughters, Stella and Emerson, and their newest family member, a dachshund from Texas named Jett.
