WILMINGTON, MA — Maureen E. Kaszynski, age 79, of Watertown, MA, formerly a long-time resident of Wilmington, MA, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2026.
Maureen was born on April 13, 1947, along with her twin brother Michael; she was the cherished only daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Rawinski) Kaszynski.
Maureen was raised and educated in Wilmington and a graduate of Wilmington High School. She went on to take computer classes and went to work for Charles River Labs in Wilmington for several years.
Maureen and her family were very talented musicians; she started playing the accordion as a young girl and even until her last days she was playing tunes on her keyboard.
Maureen was the dear sister of the late Frank Kaszynski and his wife Nancy Kaszynski of Peabody, Robert Kaszynski and his wife Yvette of Kittery, ME, Richard Kaszynski and his wife Terry of Peabody and the late Michael P. Kaszynski. Special aunt of Erik Kaszynski, Kyra Kaszynski, Sabre Kaszynski, Jill Kaszynski, and Brian Kaszynski and his wife Gail, great-aunt of Julia, Lindsay, Colby and Jacob.
Family and friends will gather for a Funeral Service at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rt. 62), Wilmington, on Thursday, June 18th at 1:45. Interment to follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.
