Wilmington Congregational Church (220 Middlesex Avenue) is holsting a Red Cross Blood Drive from 9am to 2pm. Interested donors can call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) to book an appointment. Donors can also visit http://www.redcross.org to schedule an appointment.

The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is CLOSED from 9am to 1pm for Staff Development.

The Wilmington Senior Center (130 Main Street) is holding the following classes and activities: Zumba (9am); Pickleball (9am); Sewing (noon); Chair Yoga (noon); Women’s Billiards (12:30pm); Poker (1pm); Chess (1pm); Fit N Trim (1:30pm); and Cornhole (2pm). Learn more HERE.

TEXTILES WANTED: The Wilmington Educational Foundation has partnered with Baystate Textiles to raise funds through an ongoing textile recycling rebate program. Bag up any of your unwanted footwear, clothing, accessories, linens and stuffed animals and place them in the donation boxes located outside each of Wilmington’s public schools. Donations can be in any condition as long as they’re clean and dry. The Wilmington Educational Foundation will receive a rebate of $100 for every ton of textiles collected.  WEF earns thousands of dollars each year from this fundraiser.

CANS WANTED: Wilmington’s Cub Scout Pack 136 and Boy Scout Troop 136 are currently collecting returnable cans and bottles to help support their Scouting programs. Learn more HERE.
