Needleworkers at Night
Monday, June 1, 6-8pm
These nighttime sessions are perfect for anyone who does any kind of needle craft but can’t make it to Needleworkers during the day! Drop-in.
Connect with a Social Worker
Tuesday, June 2, 10am-12pm
The Wilmington Wellness Coalition, in partnership with Wilmington Memorial Library, offers free, confidential sessions at the library for any library patron who may need support. Meet with Samantha Cavanaugh, the Town of Wilmington’s social worker, for help with mental health, substance use, housing, food insecurity, transportation, applications, caregiver support, and more. The first hour will be for drop-ins on a first-come, first-served basis, and the second hour will be appointment based in 20-minute time slots.
Slice & Dice – A Pizza and Table Top Game Night
Tuesday, June 2, 6pm
Join Librarians Mary and Marie for Slice & Dice, our monthly pizza and table top game night for adults. Each month, we’ll kick off with a featured game, followed by open play where you can explore our game library or bring your own favorites to share with the group!
Book Bedazzling
Thursday, June 4, 6-8pm
Add some sparkle to your bookshelf as you learn to bedazzle a book! We will have bedazzling supplies available for use during the event and plenty of spare books to go around.
Needleworkers
Friday, June 5, 10am-12pm
This is a social group for those who do any kind of needle craft. Bring your knitting, crocheting, quilting, etc. and enjoy conversation and camaraderie. Drop-in.

Wilmington Community Playgroup
Monday, June 1, 10am
Join Community Teamwork Family Resource Network for a community playgroup where we’ll work on Early Literacy skills and much, much more! Ask CTI about any resources they can help provide for you and your family. Ages 0-6, siblings welcome
Preschool Storytime

Join us at our Preschool Storytime! This program includes books, rhymes, music and movement. Ages 3-6
Time for Twos
Wednesday, June 3, 10am
Time for Twos includes books, rhymes, music and movement for children aged 2! Age 2

LEGO Building
Friday, June 5, 3:45pm
Build with LEGOs at the same time as other LEGO fans and display what you make in the library! Grades K-5

Summer Reading is Just Around the Corner!
The Summer Reading Program is almost here! You will be able to register and log your reading online at wilmlibrary.beanstack.org or grab a paper log at the library. Throughout the summer you can collect prizes and raffle tickets by reading and filling out a bingo card. This year’s program will be running from June 20th to August 13th, is for all ages, and has the theme: Plant a Seed, Read!
Library Resource: Birds of the World
Become an armchair ornithologist with Birds of the World, a research platform that brings together deep, scholarly content from several celebrated works of ornithology with millions of bird observations from eBird and multimedia from the Macaulay Library into a single platform where biologists and birders can explore comprehensive life history information on birds. The Bookstore Next Door is open Wednesdays and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Stop by to purchase some new-to-you books!
