WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, May 15, 2026:
Police checked on a vehicle at Cumberland Farm. Operator was sleeping. He had been delivering for Door Dash all night. He was sent on his way. (12:27am)
Juveniles were stuck in an elevator at Middle School. Police response was canceled after custodian was able to resent elevator and get kids out. (2:32pm)
A car struck a pole on Hillside Way. Airbag deployed. Child was in the vehicle. Telephone pole was cracked. Police notified RMLD and Verizon. Road shut down. Burlington Police assisted with traffic detours. Vehicle towed. No injuries noted. (2:13pm)
