Below is an announcement from the Ipswich River Community Chorus:
WILMINGTON, MA — Named for a beloved arts educator and member of Ipswich River Community Chorus (IRCC), the Nancy Ferretti/Ipswich River Community Chorus Scholarship for Achievement in the Arts is awarded to deserving students who intend to pursue their love of music as they continue their education.
Each year IRCC grants a $500 scholarship to two students in the communities which it serves.
This year, both recipients of the scholarship went to 5-year members of the chorus.
Allison Hall will graduate from Wilmington High School this month with plans to attend Worcester Polytechnic Institute where she will major in Biomedical Engineering and minor in Music.
James Stuart graduated in 2025 from Shawsheen Valley Technical High School. James plans to attend Middlesex Community College this fall with a major in Technical Arts and Humanities.
The Ipswich River Community Chorus is incredibly proud to support these outstanding musicians.
