Below is an announcement from the Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project:
Central Mass. Mosquito Control Project will be accepting requests to spray mosquitoes beginning next week. Service requests can be made HERE.
Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project personnel will be in Wilmington to respond to residents’ concerns about mosquitoes on June 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, and 25. Dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions, mosquito populations, mosquito virus activity and/or special event spraying.
Mosquito spraying is only done when certain criteria have been met; mosquitoes are active at that time, temperatures are above 55oF and winds are less than 10mph. If any of these conditions are not present at the time of the application then the service request will be rescheduled to a later date.
