Wilmington’s Radha Govindraj, MD Named ‘Educator Of The Year’ At Boston University’s School Of Medicine

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington resident Radha Govindraj, MD, has been named Educator of the Year, Clinical by BU Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.

Govindraj is an assistant professor of medicine. She also is an in-patient hospitalist who admits and sees patients on the adult hospitalist service at BMC. She has been an Academy of Medical Educator for approximately six years, nocturnist lead for the Hospital Medicine Unit for five years and associate director for the Internal Medicine Clerkship for four years.

She completed her internal medicine residency training at BMC.

By sharing her clinical expertise and providing thoughtful mentorship, she has left a lasting impact on residents, medical students, and colleagues. She has a boundless enthusiasm for education, as reflected by the remarkable array of different educational roles, said her nominator.
