WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, May 10, 2026:
Police was flagged down by a construction workers on Jefferson Road that found a license plate in the road. Police brought plate back to station and contacted registered owner, who later retrieved the plate. (3:28pm)
A caller reported a rollover on Ballardvale Street. Car was on its side in a ditch. Driver was able to self-extricate. No injuries noted. Vehicle towed. Driver was cited for marked lanes violation. (4:54pm)
A caller reported a dog was tethered to a tree in front of Anton’s Cleaners. Police responded. Dog appeared healthy and happy, and went home with its owners. (7:28pm)
