The Yoga Loft (296R Shawsheen Avenue) is holding a YOGA THON for Wilmington Unified Games from 10am to 7pm. The Yoga Loft has consistently endeavored to give back to our community, and this event presents an excellent opportunity to demonstrate our support. The Parish of the Transfiguration is holding a “Birthday Party In A Bag” drive during the weekend of Saturday, April 25, 2026 and Sunday, April 26, 2026. Donations may be left at the entrances of St. Thomas and St. Dorothy’s during all massed this weekend. Donations will be given to local children and families in need. The Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica) is open from noon to 4pm. Learn about the canal, which travels through Wilmington.
Spend a weekend exploring the Tewksbury Public Library (300 Chandler Street) as it transforms into a vibrant landscape of flowers and greenery! Art in Bloom, presented by the Tewksbury Garden Club and Tewksbury Public Library, will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 9am to 4pm, and Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 1pm to 4pm. Tewksbury Garden Club members will display original floral interpretations of artwork and books provided by local artists, including Tewksbury Memorial High School and Shawsheen Tech students, Tewksbury Piecemakers Quilting Guild, Tewksbury Historical Society, and Tewksbury Public Library as interpreted and designed by Tewksbury Garden Club members. This event is free and open to all ages. No registration is required to attend.
TEXTILES WANTED: The Wilmington Educational Foundation has partnered with Baystate Textiles to raise funds through an ongoing textile recycling rebate program. Bag up any of your unwanted footwear, clothing, accessories, linens and stuffed animals and place them in the donation boxes located outside each of Wilmington’s public schools. Donations can be in any condition as long as they’re clean and dry. The Wilmington Educational Foundation will receive a rebate of $100 for every ton of textiles collected. WEF earns thousands of dollars each year from this fundraiser.
