It’s Town Election Day, Wilmington! Polls are open from 8am to 8pm, at the new Wilmington Senior Center at 130 Main Street (Precincts 1-3) and the new Wilmington Town Hall at 146 Middlesex Avenue (Precincts 4-6). While the School Committee race is contested, the challenger — a high school senior — has not campaigned and has shared plans to attend college in New York next fall. The Select Board race, meanwhile, is VERY much contested — with four candidates vying for two spots. Wilmington Apple has published more than 70 posts on the town election this campaign season. All other races are uncontested this cycle.
The Parish of the Transfiguration presents “Parable of the Talents Show” from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Villanova Hall (126 Middlesex Avenue). The event will also feature karaoke and a 50/50 raffle. The Parish of the Transfiguration is holding a “Birthday Party In A Bag” drive during the weekend of Saturday, April 25, 2026 and Sunday, April 26, 2026. Donations may be left at the entrances of St. Thomas and St. Dorothy’s during all masse this weekend. Donations will be given to local children and families in need.
