WILMINGTON, MA — Walter R. Perry, age 76, beloved husband of Maryanne J. (Kenealy) Perry died Friday, March 20, 2026 at Care One in Wilmington with his family by his side.
He was born in Boston. October 27, 1949 a son of the late James R. and Geraldine (Ryan) Perry and lived in Brookline before moving to Billerica in 1982.
Walter proudly served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War attaining the rank of EM3 then went on to a career with the Brookline Fire Department for over 30 years.
Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Jayme Cerullo and her husband Christopher of Billerica and Jillian Doane and her husband Ronald of Worcester; two brothers, Paul Perry of FL and David Perry and his wife Carol of Billerica as well as his four grandchildren, Chiara, Darianna, Lucas and Patrick. He was the brother of the late James Perry Jr.
A Graveside Service will be held Friday at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 1:00 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Memorial contributions may be made in Walter’s name to the International Association of Fire Fighters Foundation, http://www.iafffoundation.org.
