The Wilmington-based Sole Sisters Running Club is holding its 8th Annual Winter SOLEstice 5K at 10am, beginning on the Wilmington Town Common (142 Middlesex Avenue). Residents are encouraged to participate. Register HERE. Registration costs $45 after December 10.
The Parish of the Transfiguration is conducting a Christmas Food Drive to help families in need within the St. Thomas and St. Dorothy’s parish. Donations can be left inside the entrances of both St. Thomas and St. Dorothy’s prior to the masses on December 13, 2025 and December 14, 2025. Grocery store gift cards in any denomination are needed for each dinner basket and would be much appreciated.
Wilmington’s Junior WOW Club will be hosting a Gingerbread Cookie Decorating event from 10:30am to 12:30pm at the Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue). This event is free and open to all ages.
The Ahern Family Charitable Foundation will hold its 22nd Annual Army-Navy Football Luncheon fundraiser at 2pm at the Scoreboard Sports Bar & Grill in Woburn. The annual fundraiser benefits Massachusetts children of fallen and deployed troops this holiday season through Operation Santa-Massachusetts, a program created in partnership with the Military Friends Foundation. The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding the following events and activities: Fleece Fest (10am to 4pm) and Pop-Tart Candy Cottages (2pm to 3pm).

The Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica) is open from noon to 4pm. Learn about the canal, which travels through Wilmington.
Pacific Grove (211 Lowell Street) hosts karaoke from Winnell Entertainment on Saturdays beginning at 8pm.
CHRISTMAS TREE SALES: Wilmington United Methodist Church (87 Church Street) is selling Christmas trees from 9am to 8pm on the church’s front lawn. Boy Scout Troop 56 is selling Christmas trees from 10am to 7pm in the Colonial Plaza parking lot (35 Lowell Street). Learn more HERE.
