WOBURN, MA — The Ahern Family Charitable Foundation will hold its 22nd Annual Army-Navy Football Luncheon fundraiser on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at the Scoreboard Sports Bar & Grill in Woburn. The annual fundraiser benefits Massachusetts children of fallen and deployed troops this holiday season through Operation Santa-Massachusetts, a program created in partnership with the Military Friends Foundation. Tickets are available now at ahernfoundation.org.
Guests will gather to watch the 126th Army–Navy Game—one of America’s most storied sports rivalries—across dozens of widescreen HDTVs throughout the Scoreboard. In addition to game-day excitement, attendees will enjoy a buffet lunch, raffles, and silent and live auctions.
Local media personalities, entertainers, and business leaders will join the event’s Honorary Host Committee. Special guests include GBH’s David O’Leary, WBZ 1030AM Traffic Reporter Lori Grande, WBZ 1030AM’s Matt Phipps, CBS Boston Reporter Levan Reid, Boston 25 News Chief Meteorologist Kevin Lemanowicz, comedian David Russo, and others.
Founded in 2001 following the 9/11 attacks, the Ahern Family Charitable Foundation is a Massachusetts-based nonprofit committed to supporting veterans, active-duty military, and their families through targeted financial grants to military support organizations.
Funds raised at the luncheon will support Operation Santa- Massachusetts in partnership with the Military Friends Foundation, which provides financial assistance to families of the Massachusetts National Guard and Reserve. Proceeds will help provide holiday gift cards to more than 100 children of deployed or fallen Massachusetts service members. To date, the Army–Navy Football Luncheon has raised more than $150,000 for this effort.
