WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for August 1, 2025

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, August 1, 2025:

  • Police received calls that train gates were stuck down on Woburn Street and Kilmarnock Street with no train in sight. Vehicles were going around the gate. Police notified Keolis and MBTA Transit Police. (7:18am)
  • Police assisted State Police with a 3-vehicle crash on 93 South, near Exit 34. Vehicles were in the median, with 2 airbags deployed. (8:04am)
  • A vehicle struck the owner of the Dunkin’ building on Middlesex Avenue. Structural damage noted. Building inspector’s office notified, but inspector was not in and no on call coverage available. Vehicle was towed. (9:06am)
  • A caller reported gates were stuck down on Concord Street, with lights flashing but no train coming. Keolis responded and got gate into upright position. Keolis noted a larger issue with the Haverhill line. Transit police remained on scene. (9:29am)
  • Property manager at Regency Place reported a stolen package. Office has video of involved party. (12:11pm)
  • Police responded to car fire on 93 South Exit 33 off ramp. (12:34pm)
