WILMINGTON, MA — Robert D. Sullivan, “Bob”, age 54, of Lowell, formerly of Wilmington, passed away peacefully at home following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Bob was born in Winchester, MA, on January 24, 1970; he was the cherished son of Claire and the late Ronald Sullivan of Wilmington. Bob was raised and educated in Wilmington and attended High School at Shawsheen Regional Technical High School in Billerica where he made many great friends.
Bob married the love of his life Christine Brady in October of 2020; together they shared many wonderful times. Bob’s family and friends meant the world to him; he was always taking care of everyone and went out of his way to help anyone in need.
Bob had an adventurous spirit; he was known to ride his quads at record speeds or head out in a blizzard for sled parts. He was a practical joker who made everyone he was with want to get out of the escape rooms; if you were with Bob, you were up for an adventure like no other. Bob loved to gather with family and friends for holiday meals to socialize and enjoy!
Bob worked hard, he was self-employed as a truck driver and was always willing to go the extra mile to get the job done. Bob had a great personality and got along well with his customers as well as his fellow truck drivers.
Bob was a great guy with a huge heart; he loved his family and friends unconditionally and he will forever be missed by all who loved him.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife Christine Sullivan of Lowell, and her daughters Jessica Brady and Samantha Brady, “Papa” of Camila Nieves, cherished son of Claire L. and the late Ronald D. “Herman” Sullivan of Wilmington, dear brother of Ronald D. Sullivan, Jr. & his wife Sherry of Derry, NH, Richard Sullivan & his wife Mary of Raymond, NH, the late Maureen Sullivan, and the late Christopher Sullivan. Loving Uncle of Nicholas, Caleb, Daniel, Jewel, and Jade. Bob is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Family and friends will gather for a Funeral Service at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rte. 62), Wilmington on Monday, May 20th at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. Visiting hours will be held at the Funeral Home on Sunday, May 19th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob’s memory may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Avenue, Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266.
