BILLERICA, MA — Isabella “Bella” Macie Botte, age 20, died unexpectedly, surrounded by family on Tuesday April 23 at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington.
Bella was born in Melrose, December 21, 2003. She was the loving and compassionate daughter of Michelle De Meo Della Porta of Billerica and Michael Botte of Billerica. She was the loving and kind sister of Giovanni Della Porta of Billerica. She was the cherished granddaughter of Lynda De Meo and the late David De Meo of Billerica, Petrina (Caci) Botte of Tewksbury and Ernest Botte of Nottingham, NH. She was also a niece to many, a cousin to many, and a friend to us all.
Bella lived in Billerica since the start of high school and previously resided in Wilmington and Tewksbury. She graduated from Billerica Memorial High School with the class of 2022 and was currently working as a Universal Banker for Salem Five in Tewksbury where she recently became NMLS Certified while she attended college.
Bella was an intelligent, inquisitive and engaging young woman with the kindest heart. She loved to travel and explore. She was in the process of visiting every US National Park with her Dad. She loved music, especially 90’s grunge bands. She was very artistic. She loved to paint and draw with her Mom. She loved her family fiercely which included her two dogs Tika and Angelo.
She was an accomplished guitar player, she had a beautiful singing voice and studied taekwondo for many years where she earned the ranking of black belt from her beloved mentor, Master Justin Garofano. Bella touched so many lives with her loving heart, wonderful sense of humor and unwavering loyalty.
To know her was to love her and to never forget her.
Family and Friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours held Sunday at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 1 – 4 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday at St. Matthew the Evangelist parish at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Burial in Calvary Cemetery, Winchester.
