THIS WEEKEND: Wilmington Minutemen To March Down Church St. & Fire Muskets At 2AM On Saturday, April 13 To Commemorate 1775 March To Concord

Below is information from the Wilmington Minutemen: 

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Minutemen will pay tribute to the original 29 men from Wilmington who marched from Wilmington to Concord in April 1775 to fight for the freedom from England and George III.

Wilmington Minutemen will gather at the head of the Town Common on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 2am (early Saturday morning) for a brief reflection and march down Church Street with a Police Escort down to Route 38/Main Street complete with musket firing.

Residents are welcome to line along Church Street and remember how the original Wilmington Minutemen were a part of the Revolutionary War.
