WILMINGTON, MA — The coffee giant Starbucks will be opening a location at 203 Lowell Street, in the new development at the corner of Woburn Street and Lowell Street.
Representatives from Starbucks will be in front of the Wilmington Planning Board for a public hearing on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 7:35pm in the Town Hall Auditorium. Specifically, the hearing is about the installation of various wall, freestanding and directional signage.
At the July 2023 meeting of the Wilmington Economic Development Committee, Town Economic Development Coordinator Jayne Wierzbicki reported the project team decided to reduce the height of the building to one floor and focus solely on retail tenants and a possible restaurant. The team also decided to replace the bank with a drive-thru coffee shop.

The strip mall and Starbucks are positioned in front of a 50-unit apartment complex.
A 3-year, $5+ million intersection improvement project abutting this location began in August. New left turn lines in all 4 directions, new traffic signals, new sidewalks, bike lanes and more will funded through the Massachusetts Department of Transportation.
Starbucks already has two additional locations in Wilmington — 271 Main Street in the Wilmington Crossing Plaza and inside the Target at 210 Ballardvale Street.
