WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Farmers Market is excited to announce its expansion of off-season offerings to all customers. The decision to broaden access is an effort to extend the availability of fresh, locally sourced produce beyond the typical market season.
Starting this week, all members of the community will have access to the market’s off season offerings for the first 3 weeks of each month. The market will continue to offer a 50% discount to SNAP recipients.
Here’s How It Will Work:
Online Ordering: Beginning this week, customers can place their orders online through the ordering portal: http://www.wilmingtonfarmersmarket.com/off-season-ordering.html
Order Deadline: The online order form will be open until 9:00 am each Friday for the 1st 3 weeks of each month.
Pick-Up Location and Times: Customers can conveniently pick up their orders and pay between 10:00 am and 11:00 am every Sunday at the 4th of July Building, located at 142 Middlesex Ave in Wilmington, MA.
The basic package is available for $25 and includes:
- A selection of fresh vegetables from Clodhopper and Gaouette farms
- A delicious fresh loaf of bread from Purple Carrot
- A delectable piece of cheese from Live Love Cheese
Add-ons are also available for an additional fee (a 50% discount) including: including:
- Vendor selections of fresh and prepared seafood from SeaFood Express
- Take & Bake entrees for 2 from Purple Carrot
