WILMINGTON, MA — Trexel Inc., developer of the MuCell and TecoCell foaming solutions for injection molding, has appointed Joan Lombardo as VP of sales and marketing.

She will oversee sales efforts across North America, Europe and Japan, and work with all regions to coordinate global marketing activities.

“Joan’s extensive experience in managing sales and marketing organizations from startups to larger industrial companies is a valuable asset to Trexel,” CEO Levi Kishbaugh said. “With her background, analytical abilities and clear understanding of manufacturing and technology industry customers, she brings new insights and strategies to support Trexel’s growing business.”

Lombardo brings a background in managing sales and marketing organizations from startup IT companies to larger industrial organizations such as The Velcro Co. Most recently, she was the director of sales and marketing for Vaughn Thermal Corp.
