WILMINGTON, MA — In the latest episode of WCTV’s “Where’s Wilmington?,” host Lisa Kapala-Egan interviews Darlene Lockhart, exalted leader of the Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks Lodge.
Learn how the Elks gives back to both communities, including Thanksgiving meals for seniors, Trunk or Treating, Holiday Toy Drive, Substance Abuse Prevention programs, weekly Tuesday night Bingo, weekly Thursday night Cornhole; Hoop Shot (Free Throw Contest), Scholarships for Graduating High School Seniors, Free Dictionaries for Third Graders, organizing a Field of Honor (placing 200 U.S. flags outside the Tewksbury Library), visits to veterans; and donations to various local non-profits and organizations, such as the Tewksbury Food Pantry, Wilmington-Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce and Strongwater Farm. The Elks are actively seeking new members and volunteers.
