IPSWICH, MA — Each spring, the Ipswich River Community Chorus is very pleased to offer scholarships to two graduating seniors.
On April 29, 2023, the Nancy Ferretti Scholarships for Achievement in the Arts were presented to two deserving candidates.
The first recipient is Elisabeth Hayduk from Wilmington, a very talented violinist in the Northeast Massachusetts Youth Orchestra. She intends to continue playing in an orchestra and chamber ensembles while pursuing an engineering degree at Northwestern University.
The second recipient is Betsy Lydotes of North Reading. Having trained at St. Johns Prep Drama Guild, Refine Dance Studio, Noel Voice Studio, the North Shore Music Theater and Boston Conservatory, she will be pursuing a degree in Musical Theater from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University.
Congratulations to both recipients!
