WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for May 8, 2023

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, May 8, 2023:
  • A Ferguson Road resident found an old shot gun while remodeling. Resident asked for it to be removed. Police retrieved the firearm and brought it to the station. (9:45am)
  • Police recused an injured owl near MKL Stone on Main Street. Bird was brought to Tufts Veterinary Hospital. (10:38am)
  • A caller reported a man was walking around Bob’s Auto Body on Andover Street; appeared to be looking for a place to camp. He was carrying a camping backpack and bedroll. Police located man, who was walking from New Hampshire to Texas. Police dropped him off at Dunkin’ on Ballardvale Street. (4:26pm)
  • A Kenwood Avenue resident reported identity fraud. (5:16pm)
  • A walk-in party reported a hit and run at Target from 4:45pm. (5:44pm)
