WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington School Committee is holding a meeting this Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 7pm in the High School’s Large Instruction Room.
The meeting will be streamed live on WCTV.org and on WCTV.
There are several noteworthy items on the meeting agenda, including:
- The School Committee will receive an update on the Wildwood School Building project.
- The School Committee will consider approving the disposal of surplus, damaged and outdated supplies and equipment at the Wildwood Early Childhood Center.
- The School Committee will receive a presentation from high school students on their recent field trip to Germany.
- The School Committee will hear the Superintendent’s Report, including updates on the Superintendent Goals/Evaluation Process Timeline; District Strategic Planning; and Culture & Climate Assessment Tools.
- The School Committee will hear a presentation on Tiered Interventions for Chronic Absenteeism.
- The School Committee will consider approving a request to hold the 2023 Band Camp.
- The School Committee will hold its annual reorganization and finalize its subcommittee assignments for the next 12 months.
The School Committee will also hear any public comments, correspondence, and subcommittee reports. The Committee’s Middle School student representatives will also issue their monthly report.
