WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Fourth of July Committee has just released the schedule for the 2023 Wilmington Fun on the Fourth celebration.
The celebration will be held on and around the Wilmington Town Common from Thursday, June 29, 2023 to Sunday, July 2, 2023.
The carnival will run from 5pm to 10pm on Thursday & Friday; 1pm to 10:30pm on Saturday; and 2pm to 10:30pm on Sunday.
The Family Fun Day fireworks display takes place on Saturday at 9pm. The Spectacular Fireworks display will take place on Sunday at 9:30pm.
In addition to the popular Food Court, Community Meals will be provided by the Rotary Club (Hamburger & Hot Dogs on Thursday evening); Wilmington Minutemen (Pancakes and Sausages Breakfast on Saturday morning) and Tremezzo Ristorante (Community Cookout on Saturday afternoon).
Concerts will be performed by The Big Random; The Island Castaways Band; All That 90’s; Red Line; Windham Community Band; and 7 Day Weekend.
Longtime traditions — including the 3-on-3 basketball competition, horseshoes, ladies 2-mile walk, hospital bed race, and blueberry pie eating contest — and popular recent additions — Firecracker 5K & Family Fun Run and Antique Car Shows — all return.
The Committee also released the schedule for the Wilmington Family Day on Saturday, July 1, 2023.
